Overall, we'd say Helldivers 2 is still a fun game solo, though it's not quite as enjoyable as it is when you've got a squad. A big issue with solo play, though, is that completing missions on harder difficulties feels all-but-impossible, limiting how much of the game you can experience.

An expansive map also means more potential areas for enemies to be lurking. You’ll need to strategize on missions and work toward objectives together, as venturing out on your own could be detrimental. 

Many games that support cross-platform play also allow you to carry your progress over to other versions as long as you link your accounts on different platforms together, but this isn't one of them. Sadly, Helldivers 2 does not support cross-save or cross-progression right now.

Helldivers 2 is a great co-op third person shooter that feels awesome, but is ultimately a grind-fest and does its best to hide the "pay to have fun quicker" model it has in place. The slow progression (unless you pay money) has made me lose interest in this very quickly, with little to pelo motivation to continue playing the same missions on the same difficulty for tens of hours until I can afford the right weapons to proceed. Positives: - Excellent gunplay. The combat "feels" great

With a squad of 4, you can optimize your group’s loadouts as well as giving each other designated roles for what weapons and equipment to use for each mission. It’s a game that’s definitely worthy Helldivers 2 Gameplay of your time and money, as I think this game is for everyone to enjoy. So what are you waiting for?
